When you suffer a traumatic experience, it can have a detrimental effect on your health and your life. It is therefore important to be able to identify the traumas that may be contributing to negative emotions like anger or fear, and problematic behaviours, such as OCD or obsessive eating.
By using Emotional Freedom Techniques (tapping on parts of your face and body whilst repeating certain phrases), we work specifically on the trapped emotions relating to that specific trauma. The tapping whilst speaking enables the mind to distance itself from the intensity of the emotions during the process and by the end of the sequence, in turn, the body tends to 'let-go' of the issue altogether. It is it an incredibly powerful and freeing experience.
